The world around us is an amazing place. My camera helps me to slow down and notice the people and places around me. My husband and I run a backcountry lodge in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I am fortunate to call the park my back yard. My off time is spent exploring and traveling. The feeling of stepping off of a plane in a new country makes me feel alive. Whether it is the sleeping face of an adorable new born baby or village in a third world country, stop and enjoy life.
